Refund Policy

StudyChops ("we," "our," or "us") sells access to its products through Paddle.com Market Ltd. ("Paddle") as the Merchant of Record. Our refund policy is aligned with Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms, which allow all customers to cancel their agreement and return the product within 14 days of purchase. This helps avoid chargebacks and the fees they incur, and ensures a consistent experience for buyers.
Your Right to Cancel (14 Days)
If you are a Consumer (purchasing for personal use rather than for your trade, business, or profession), you have the right to cancel this agreement and return the product within 14 days of purchase without giving any reason. The cancellation period expires 14 days from the day after the date on which you completed your purchase.
To meet the deadline, it is sufficient that you send your cancellation request before the 14-day period has expired.
How to Request a Refund or Cancel

- You may also email us at support@studychops.com and we will forward your request to Paddle. Include your order number and the email address used at purchase when possible.
- Reimbursement will be made without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after the day Paddle is informed of your decision to cancel, using the same means of payment you used for the initial transaction. You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
Exception to the 14-Day Right to Cancel
Your right as a Consumer to cancel does not apply to digital content that you have already started to download, stream, or otherwise access, or to products from which you have already received the benefit. By using the product (e.g. completing rounds or accessing premium features), you consent to immediate performance and may lose the right of withdrawal once access has begun.
Refunds Beyond the 14-Day Period
Refunds outside the 14-day cancellation window are provided at the sole discretion of Paddle (and/or StudyChops where applicable) on a case-by-case basis and may be refused. Paddle will refuse a refund request if there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behaviour. This does not affect your rights as a Consumer in relation to products that are not as described, faulty, or not fit for purpose.
Subscription Cancellations
For recurring subscriptions (e.g. Monthly, Quarterly, Annual):
- Your right to cancel as a Consumer applies following the initial subscription purchase (within 14 days), not upon each automatic renewal.
- You can cancel future renewals at any time (e.g. from your account or by contacting Paddle or us at least 48 hours before the end of the current billing period).
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- There are no refunds for unused subscription periods.
- You retain access until the end of your paid period.

Processing Time
Once your cancellation or refund request is accepted, reimbursement is made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after Paddle is informed of your decision. Time for the funds to appear in your account depends on your payment method and financial institution:
- Credit/debit card refunds: typically 5–10 business days
- PayPal refunds: typically 3–5 business days
- Other methods: as per Paddle's processes
Refund processing times may vary depending on your bank or provider.
Chargebacks
If you do not recognise or wish to dispute a payment, you agree to contact Paddle (or us) before raising a chargeback with your card issuer. Chargebacks can result in fees and delays; we and Paddle will work with you to resolve issues in line with Paddle's Buyer Terms.
